Discover A Problem Within Your Passion
Every day, we face problems that seem to cause inconveniences to our lives. Although the minor issues are the most common and can put a damper on our day, it’s the major issues that we must pay close attention to daily.
There are various issues that you can tap into that revolve around a central idea where your passion lies. Some of these issues include, but are not limited to:
The mistreatment of women of color in the healthcare system.
Socio-Economic issues that people of color face daily.
Racial injustices that plague the world years after the abolishment of slavery.
Come Up With Solutions That Work
Noting the current issues that lie within our society is always the easy part. It becomes slightly tricky once you have to create solutions to address these problems. Why? Because there are most likely already solutions out there that may work.
However, that’s the best part! Those solutions MAY work, which opens the door for better solutions to come into play. There is always room for improvement within any area you wish to change, so don’t feel like the current solutions are the only methods of resolving these issues for the future.
Identifying new ways of resolving specific issues, however, starts with asking yourself these three thought-provoking questions:
Are the current solutions yielding desirable results?
What can I add to the mix to ensure that people are gaining more value from my version of the solution?
What would be the best method of relaying this solution to my desirable audience?
Maintain That Influence
Now, let’s get into the more complex part of your job as an influencer: maintaining that status to make a difference each day continuously.
Nowadays, it can become slightly more straightforward to gain some influence, especially when you’re active on specific social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Keeping that influence, though, requires that the following steps are complete:
Maintain consistency when spreading awareness online. The more time you post about your cause online means the more eyes that will see your mission and will want to join in the fight with you.
Back up your solution with hard to ignore facts. Ensure that your points come from credible and relevant sources before you jump into pushing the information out to others.
Always double down when naysayers come to defame you and your credibility. There will always be someone hoping to see you fail. NEVER give them the satisfaction of seeing you down and giving up on your purpose.
The Future Is Female
The best part about having female influencers, especially when they’re women of color, is that it encourages other women to do the same to make a difference. Let’s not forget to mention that anyone can become a solid female influencer once they grasp the steps needed to achieve that goal.
