About the event
The global pandemic has truly fuelled the growth of entrepreneurship and brought about an unprecedented boom in business startups. The past two years have seen a significant increase in the number of new companies around the world. This surge in entrepreneurship is being attributed to workers who were laid off during the pandemic, choosing to pursue their passions to start their own businesses. Women are at the forefront, starting businesses and also pushing the boundaries in the workplace and ascending to high-level business positions.
Driving the surge are social entrepreneurs who are actively changing the world around us by using their business acumen for social change, paving the way to greatness. These entrepreneurs and leaders have a wealth of insights, experience and advice for new entrepreneurs embarking on their personal journeys.
Are you interested in learning more about what it takes to build an enterprise with a focus on social impact at the core of its mission and actions? Or seeking to learn what it takes to work in leadership?
Odihi invites you to join the discussion at our Social Entrepreneur Panel Roundtable. Moderated by Nataizya Mukwavi, founder of Black Women Connect Vancouver, five business founders and leaders share their insights on how they journeyed from idea to successful business and the challenges along the way, sharing tips and valuable resources for how you too can get started on your entrepreneur journey.
